11月になり急に寒くなってきました
今日は少し防災に関するおはなし

今年の秋ごろから江戸川区では
感振ブレーカーの無料配布を始めているそうです
感振ブレーカーとは地震で強い揺れを感知し、
電気の供給を自動的に止め、電気火災を防ぐ器具です
江戸川区が無料配布するのはコンセントタイプ（タップ型）なので、
コンセントに取り付けることで簡単に使用できます
例えば、電子レンジを接続しているコンセントに感振ブレーカーを取り付けると、
地震で電子レンジが落ちた時に電線が切れて
電気火災が起こることを防ぐことができるんです
江戸川区に住んでいる学生の家には「感振ブレーカー無料配布申込書」が
届き始めているかもしれませんが、
安全のために申込みを検討しても良いかもしれませんね

11月28日には、東洋言語学院も防災事故防止訓練を予定しています
先生も学生の皆さんも有事の際、適切な行動をとれるようになることを目的として
実施しています
天気次第ですが、今回は大きな地震が体験できる起震車も来てくれる予定です

11月は防災について考える機会が沢山あります
普段の生活を一度振り返って、災害時の対応について考えてみるのも大事です

Disaster prevention

It’s November and it’s suddenly getting colder.
Today we will talk a little about disaster prevention.

It seems that Edogawa Ward has started distributing vibration-sensing breakers for free from around autumn this year.
A vibration-sensing breaker is a device that detects strong shaking caused by an earthquake and automatically switches off the electricity supply to prevent electrical fires.
The ones Edogawa City distributes for free are outlet type (tap type), so they can be easily used by attaching them to an outlet.
For example, if you install a vibration-sensing breaker on the outlet to which your microwave oven is connected, you can prevent the wires from breaking and causing an electrical fire if the microwave oven falls during an earthquake.
Students living in Edogawa Ward may have started to receive an “Application forms for free distribution of vibration-sensitive breakers” at your home, and you may want to consider applying for one for safety reasons.

On November 28th, Toyo Language School is also planning a disaster prevention and accident prevention drill.
The aim is to help both teachers and students take appropriate actions in the event of an emergency.
Depending on the weather, we are also planning to bring an earthquake vehicle that will allow you to experience a large earthquake.

November offers many opportunities to think about disaster prevention.
It is also important to look back on your daily life and think about what to do in the event of a disaster.
