The student of Toyo Language School has the highest EJU score in Japan!

What’s more, one of our current students got the highest score in the country!
We would like to share with you the opinion of one of our students. This is FAN SHIYING from China!

Q1: What is the secret of getting the highest score in EJU?
A1: I just start by listening.
I like singing, so I listen to a lot of Japanese songs and memorize the lyrics while listening. After that, I look up how to read the words and write the kanji of the lyrics I have heard. At that time, instead of looking up the Chinese translation, I look up the Japanese dictionary to understand the meaning and usage. I practiced from simple songs at first, and now I can do the same with the songs of my favorite band.

Q2: What are your goals for the future?
A2: My goal is to go to the graduate school of Musashino Art University. In the future, my dream is to become an artist who can express the world view through illustration, video and music that I love.

Q3: What kind of study do you do at school?
A3: I am studying in the art preparation class. In the art preparation class, we are able to think in Japanese not only in general terms, but also by using materials related to art, which helps me to organize my knowledge of art in Japanese.
I am also preparing new work for the entrance examinations and every time I show my work to my teacher, he gives me detailed feedback, which helps me to make my work better and better.

Q4: How do you like living in Japan?
A4: Both the school and the dormitory are located in a very quiet place, not in the centre of Tokyo, so it’s very easy to live there and a great place to study.
My dormitory is very close to the bus stop and there are lots of places to shop, so it is very convenient. I also like the fact that my privacy is protected.
