現在、ワールドカップが開催されていますね！
みなさんも見ていますか？

今年のワールドカップでは、日本は2勝1敗で決勝トーナメントへ進出したものの
惜しくも1回戦で延長の末にPK戦で敗れ、
ベスト16という結果でした
日本がワールドカップで決勝トーナメントに進出するのは
今回で4度目でした

そして、試合が終わった後の観客席のゴミ拾いをする
日本人サポーターたちの姿も話題になっています
試合観戦後、自分のゴミだけではなく、
他の人が残していったゴミも片付けているということが評価され、
運営委員会から表彰されることになりました！
また、多くの日本人サポーターたちが清掃している姿を見た
他国のサポーターたちの中には、
同じように清掃活動を始めている人たちもいるそうです

TLSでも、学校周辺の清掃活動を行っています
最近はコロナウィルスの感染拡大で控えていますが、
教室使用後は学生達と一緒に教室の清掃もしています
きれいに片付いていると、自分たちだけでなく、
周りにいる人たちも気持ちよく過ごすことができます
日本人にとっては使ったところをきれいにというのは
当たり前のことですが、こうした活動が世界に広がるというのは
嬉しいニュースですね！

World cup and cleaning up

The World Cup is going on right now!
Have you seen it?


At this year’s World Cup, Japan advanced to the final tournament
with two wins and one loss, but unfortunately, in the first round,
they extended their game and lost in the penalty shootout, resulting
in a final score is round of 16.
This is the fourth time that the Japanese team has made it
to the Final Tournament at the World Cup


After the game, the Japanese fans are picking up trash from the stands.
After watching the game, they were praised
by the management committee for not only cleaning up
their own trash but also the trash left by other people!
Also, some fans from other countries
who saw many Japanese supporters cleaning up
have started cleaning up as well.


TLS is also cleaning the area around the school.
We have been refraining from doing so recently
due to the spread of the coronavirus,
but we are also cleaning the classrooms
with the students after they use them.
If you clean up, not only you but also
people around you can spend time comfortably.
It is natural for Japanese people to clean up where we use them,
but it is good news that such activities are spreading around the world!
