先日、東洋言語学院学生寮で消防設備点検を行いました
消防設備点検では、寮にある全ての火災感知器
消火器・避難はしごの点検をします

災害が起きた時に必要な器具がきちんと動くかどうか、
壊れていないかどうかを確認するとても大切な作業です
年に2回、定期的に点検をすることで、
寮生の安全を守っていますよ

TLSでは学校だけではなく寮でも防災訓練を行い、
もし寮にいる時に災害が起きた時どうすればいいかを寮生に説明しています
普段は使わない消防設備の使い方についての話もしているんです
今はコロナ感染防止対策のため、
寮生全員を集めての防災訓練はしていませんが
チラシを使って説明をし、
寮生皆さんが命を守る行動をできるように対策しています
学外にいる時でも災害時の行動をどうするべきか知ることは、
自分の国を出て生活をする留学生にとって
とても重要ですね

Dormitory firefighting equipment inspection and disaster drill

Recently, we inspected the firefighting equipment at the dormitory of Toyo language school.
In the firefighting equipment inspection, all fire detectors, fire extinguishers,
and evacuation ladders in the dormitory was inspected.


It is a very important task to check whether the necessary equipment is working properly and whether it is not broken in the event of a disaster.
We protect the safety of dormitory students by conducting regular inspections twice a year.


TLS conducts disaster prevention drills not only at school but also at dormitories, and explains to dormitory students what to do if a disaster occurs while they are in the dormitory.
We also talk about how to use firefighting equipment that you don’t normally use.
As a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are not currently conducting emergency drills with all dormitory students.
We use flyers to explain and take measures so that
all dormitory residents can act to protect their lives.
It is very important for international students living outside their own country
to know what to do in case of a disaster even when they are off campus.
