先週の火曜日、2022年11月8日に皆既月食がありました
日本では天気が良く、全国で観測することができました
みなさんも見られましたか？

皆既月食は、太陽・地球・月が一直線に並んだ時にだけ見られる珍しいものです
皆既月食している時の月は、「赤銅色」と呼ばれる赤黒い色に見えます
今回はさらに、天王星も同じ直線上に並び、天王星食となりました
この皆既月食と天王星食が重なるのは、442年ぶりだったそうです
この写真は、月食に天王星が重なろうとしているところです
よく見ると、月の下に小さな白い光が見えますね
これが天王星です

次に日本で皆既月食が見られるのは2025年9月8日です
今回見られなかった人も、次は見られるといいですね！

A total lunar eclipse

There was a total lunar eclipse last Tuesday, November 8th, 2022.
The weather was good in Japan, and we were able to observe it all over Japan.
Could you see it, too?


A total lunar eclipse is a rare phenomenon that can be seen only when the sun, the earth, and the moon are in a straight line.
When the moon is in a total lunar eclipse, it looks like a red-black color called “copper-red color”


This time, Uranus also lined up in the same straight line and became a Uranus eclipse.
It was the first time in 442 years that the total lunar eclipse and Uranus eclipse overlapped.
This picture shows Uranus overlapping in the lunar eclipse.
If you look closer, you can see a small white light under the moon.
That’s Uranus.


The next total lunar eclipse will be seen in Japan on September 8th, 2025.
I hope people who couldn’t see it this time will be able to see it next time!
