Learning Content “My Study” that Supports Each Student’s Unique Learning Style
As language research progresses, we have come to understand many things, with individual differences being one of the key insights.
The time it takes to memorize words, the methods for studying comfortably, and whether one prefers writing or speaking—all of these are connected to individual differences.
In Japanese classes, the differences in students’ levels are often seen as a challenge.
Toyo Language School has a solution to address this issue.
When two or more people come together, it’s natural for individual differences to emerge.
We are not machines; these differences are part of our individuality and should not be viewed negatively. If individual differences are the norm, then it’s crucial for schools to design educational programs that cater to them.
Toyo Language School offers a wide range of elective classes, allowing students to choose a learning style that suits them best. Additionally, “My Teacher” serves as a mentor for each student, providing tailored support based on their individual learning needs and goals. As a result, the school has established a system that respects and supports each student’s unique learning journey.
“My Study” is a platform designed to flexibly accommodate these individual differences.
It functions as a “virtual study room” within the Teams network, allowing students to study Japanese at their own pace and place—from reviewing class materials to studying kanji. Currently, “My Study” offers 169 different content modules.
Students’ actual learning records are used to continually improve and expand the content, identify areas where students struggle, and develop strategies to enhance usage and effectiveness.
Toyo Language School’s educational content is constantly evolving to meet the needs of the times. We will continue to keep a close eye on its development.

言葉を覚えることに必要な時間、気持ちよく勉強出る方法、書くのが好き、話すのが好き、すべてにこの『個人差』が関係しています。
そして、日本語の教室ではよくクラスの学生間のレベル差が問題として扱われます。
このレベル差の問題について東洋言語学院は一つの答えを持っています。
人が2人以上集まれば、『個人差』が生まれるのは当然です。
私たちは機械ではないですから、それが個性で、『個人差』は悪いことではありません。

選択授業が豊富に用意されており、学生が自分に合った学習スタイルを選ぶことができます。また、My Teacherが一人ひとりのメンターとしてサポートを行うことで、学生一人ひとりの学習ニーズや目標に応じた支援が提供されています。これにより、東洋言語学院の教育は、個々の学びの違いを尊重し、それぞれの成長をサポートする仕組みが整っています。
そして、新たな『個人差』を柔軟に支援する仕組み、それがMy Studyです！
My Studyとは、Teamsネットワークの中に創りあげられた、「仮想自習室」とも呼べるプラットフォーム。
自分のしたい勉強、今日のクラスの授業の復習、漢字の勉強まで、好きな時間に好きな場所での日本語学習を可能にしました。
My Studyには現在169コンテンツが搭載されています。
学生たちの実際の学習記録は、グレードアップしたコンテンツを増やしたり、学生たちのつまずきポイントを検証したり、活用方法や頻度を向上させる改善策を検討するために活用されていきます。
時代に合わせてどんどん進化していく東洋言語学院の教育コンテンツ。これからも目が離せません。
