大学院の入学試験は学校によってかなり試験科目が違います

その中で多くの学校の科目にあるのが　小論文です

せっかく良い内容を書いても　読んでもらえない小論文ってありそうです

今週と来週は　小論文の試験で気をつけなければいけないところをお伝えします!!

注意その１　【文字数】

試験問題では、【以上】【程度】【以内】という言葉が出てきます

例えば1,000字の試験の場合

【1,000字以上】→1,000文字～1,100文字
【1,000字程度】→900文字～1,100文字
【1,000字以下】→900文字～1,000文字

以上だったらどれだけ書いてもいい！ってわけじゃないので気をつけて

注意その２　【原稿用紙の書き方】

学生達が苦しんでいるのがこの原稿用紙の使い方・・・

たくさんの間違えが生まれるのが　｢ッ｣｢ャ｣のような小さな文字も1マスに入れること

それから　｢、｣｢。｣はマスの左下をイメージして書いてください

もちろん　段落の一番最初は1マスを空けます

一番難しいのが横書きではなくて　縦書きの原稿用紙の使い方

自分の行きたい大学院の試験が縦書きかどうかは必ずチェックを

縦書きになると　原稿用紙のミスが20％増える　イメージ・・・

Graduate school entrance exams vary considerably from school to school.

Note 1 [Number of characters]
In the exam questions, the words [more than], [approximately], [less than] will appear.
For example, for a 1,000-character test
[more than 1,000 characters] → 1,000 to 1,100 characters
[approximately 1,000 characters] → 900 to 1,100 characters
[less than 1,000 characters] → 900 to 1,000 characters
Even if it says “more than”, it doesn’t mean “you can write as much as you like! “. So please be careful.

Note 2 [How to write manuscript paper]
Students are struggling with how to use this manuscript paper …
Many students mistake in the place to write small characters such as 「ッ」「ャ」. You should put these in one square.
Then, write symbol such as「、」and「。」with the image of the lower left of the square.
Of course, there must be a space at the beginning of the paragraph.
The most difficult thing is not using horizontal writing but using vertical writing paper.
Be sure to check if the graduate exam you want to go use vertical writing paper or not.
There is an image that mistakes in manuscript paper increase by 20% in vertical writing…
