Made Possible by Being Part of the Jikei Gakuen Group: The First Step Toward Your Career Path — “Professional Training College Booth Information Session”

The sweltering days of summer are finally over, and a crisp, cool season has arrived.
The October term at Japanese language schools is the period when students hoping to continue their studies start submitting applications and taking entrance exams in earnest, making it a term when activities related to future career paths become particularly active.

At Toyo Language School, we have been holding this year’s second “Professional Training College Booth Information Session” since late October.
When we talk about information sessions, usually it is the prospective students who go to the schools they wish to enroll in to attend the session, right?


However, at this booth information session, teachers from the Jikei Gakuen Group’s professional training colleges actually come to Toyo Language School, allowing students to speak with them directly before or after their classes!!!
Moreover, there are over 15 colleges participating! This is a unique strength of being part of the Jikei Gakuen Group!! The subjects you can study at these professional training colleges cover a wide range, so you’re sure to find information about a college that matches the field you want to study(^^)

Many people might imagine that information sessions have a formal or stiff atmosphere.
Thoughts like, “I’m just a little curious…” or “I haven’t really thought of any concrete plans yet…” can make it feel intimidating to attend a session.

But this is exactly the kind of information session we want those people to attend casually.
Unlike information sessions held in classrooms, this booth information session takes place in the open student hall, and you can drop by anytime during the scheduled hours.
No reservation is needed, and it’s easy to stop by before or after classes!
While it’s important to compare multiple colleges, doing so usually takes both time and money.
In that context, being able to talk to even one or two schools right at your own school is a valuable opportunity!


Many students use this booth information session as a starting point to decide to attend the professional training colleges’ open campuses, which greatly helps them plan their future career paths.

やっと残暑もなくなり、肌寒さを感じる季節になりました。
日本語学校の10月期は、進学希望の学生の出願、入学試験が本格的に始まり、進路に関する動きが活発化する学期です。

東洋言語学院では、10月下旬から今年度2回目の「専門学校ブース説明会」を行っています。
説明会といえば、通常は入学希望者の方から入学を希望する学校に出向いて説明会に参加をするものですよね。


ところがなんと、このブース説明会では滋慶学園グループの専門学校の方が東洋言語学院に来てくださって、授業の前後に専門学校の方と直接お話ができるんです！！！
しかもその数はなんと15校以上！これは、滋慶学園グループ校ならではの強みです！！
専門学校で勉強できる内容は多岐にわたりますが、きっと自分の勉強したい分野の専門学校のお話が聞けます(^^)

説明会というとかしこまった雰囲気をイメージする人が多いかもしれません。
「ちょっと興味があるだけだし…」「まだあまり具体的なプランは考えていない…」
そう思うと、説明会に参加するのにも勇気がいりますよね。


でも、そんな人こそ気軽に参加してほしいのがこのブース説明会。
この説明会は、教室を使って話を聞く説明会とは違って、オープンスペースである学生ホールを使用して、実施時間の中ならいつ来てもOKな自由な説明会なんです。
予約はもちろん不要で、授業前後にふらっと立ち寄ることができるのが魅力です！
複数の学校を比較検討することは大切ですが、そのためにはやはり時間もお金もかかってしまいます。
そんな中で、1校、2校でも自分の学校でお話を聞けるというのは貴重なチャンスですよね！

このブース説明会をきっかけに専門学校のオープンキャンパスへ参加を決める学生も多く、学生の進路プランを決めるのにも大きく役立っています。
