TLSでは日本語の授業だけではなく、3ヶ月に1度の防災事故防止訓練で身を守る授業もしています
今日は、消火訓練について紹介します
大きな火事になる前に火を消す道具の消火器を使って、初期消火をする訓練です
消火器を使うには5つのステップがあります

(1)大きい声で「火事だ」と言いまわりに火事が起きたことを知らせます
(2)消火器を持ち、火災が発生したところまですばやく持っていきます
危ないので、火から3m以上近付くのはやめましょう
(3)黄色のピンを抜きます
(4)ホースの先を親指でしっかり押さえ、ホースを持ちます
先を抑えないと、ホースが動いてしまって危ないです
(5)火元に向け発射します
炎の上のほうにかけても火は消えないので、火の根本に向けて出します

実際に消火器を使ったことがある人は少ないと思います
火事になってしまった時に、焦らず消火ができるように覚えておきましょう
天井に着くくらい炎が大きくなってしまったら、近付かずに安全な場所へ避難して
すぐに消防署につながる119番へ電話をしてください

Fire extinguishing training

In addition to Japanese classes, we also give classes to protect yourself through an emergency and accident prevention training once every three months.
Today, we would like to introduce fire extinguishing training.
It is a training to extinguish the initial fire that we use a fire extinguisher what a tool to extinguish a fire before a big fire.
There are five steps to using a fire extinguisher.

(1) In a loud voice, say “It’s a fire” and let people know that a fire has occurred.
(2) Take a fire extinguisher and quickly bring it to the place where the fire broke out. It’s dangerous, so don’t get closer than 3m from the fire.
(3) Pull out the yellow pin.
(4) Hold the tip of the hose firmly with your thumb. If you do not hold the tip, the hose will move and it is dangerous.
(5) Fire toward the source of the fire. Even if you put out it on the top, the fire will not go out. Put out toward the root of the fire.

We think few people have actually used a fire extinguisher.
If a fire breaks out, don’t forget to extinguish it without rushing.
If the flame grows big enough to reach the ceiling, stay away from there and evacuate to a safe place.
Call 119 what fire department immediately.
