Each student has a different level of Japanese language ability.
The target level of their Japanese language skills also varies from student to student.
To meet each student’s individual needs, we at TLS offer elective classes in five different fields.
Overcome Your Weak Points
Counseling sheets enable students to know their strong points and weak points in detail.
For students who know their own weak points and want to overcome them, elective classes in the relevant field are recommended.
Classes are organized from beginner to intermediate level to assist students in their weak areas, such as grammar, the use of particles, or kanji characters.
Improve Your Japanese Language Skills
“I want to pass the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.”
“I want a high score on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students.”
“I want to be able to have an everyday conversation in Japanese.”
“I want to be able to express myself better in Japanese, so that I can meet and communicate with Japanese people.”
The contents of our classes will help you to improve your Japanese language skills to achieve such goals.
Work Using Japanese
If you want to find employment or a part-time job in Japan, this is the class for you.
We offer classes to give you an insight into the Japanese attitude to business, with guidance in topics such as searching for job vacancies, writing resumes, taking interviews, and the business etiquette essential for when you have joined a company.
This class starts in January and is held on Mondays and Fridays.
You will develop the Japanese language skills required by a graduate school student while learning the steps to prepare for taking graduate school entrance examinations.
We give individual instruction for research proposals, as this is not included in the elective options.
The aim is to get a high score in subjects other than Japanese in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, which is essential for entering university.
The school offers elective classes in mathematics, general studies, physics and chemistry.
The goal is that students can secure a place at the university of their choice.
